The fundamental components of a baby high chair are either molded plastic or metal tubing frame, a seat equipped with a harness and a security belt and a footrest. From there, the options are endless! Fortunately, you don't need to spend a lot of money for a quality high chair.
1. Place the towel just behind your pelvic bones, at the back of the chair. This will help you to sit firmly on your pelvic bones and allow your back to lean back, becoming more erect as you sit on your pelvic bones.
To determine the appropriate seat depth for a user- the user should be placed in the best possible seated position that can be obtained. A measurement is taken from the back of the pelvis (furthest back part of the buttocks), forward to the back of the knee. Make sure that each leg is measured separately. There are more leg-length discrepancies (differences in leg-lengths) than you may think. From the measured length, for clearance, deduct 2".
The metal chairs need to be dealt with a bit more carefully as metal is prone to rust. Hence, the metal chairs should be checked for the same. In case any damage occurs, you can treat it with rust preventing paint after removing the loose material. Apart from that, you should repaint the chairs after two to three years to ensure that the barrier to rust is kept in place.
